Pay it forward

Pay it Forward Concept

Paying it forward is a third-party beneficiary concept that involves doing something good for someone in response to a good deed done on your behalf or a gift you received. However, when you pay it forward, you don’t repay the person who did something nice for you. Instead, you do something nice for someone else. For example, if someone changes your tire while you are stranded on the highway, you might pay it forward by moving your elderly neighbour’s lawn that is struggling to do so themselves.

The concept of paying it forward comes from a movie "Pay It Forward", starring Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt. In this movie, a young boy, played by Haley Joel Osment, is given a school assignment that requires him to find some way to change the world. He develops the pay it forward concept, setting forth a chain reaction of good deeds.

This concept is the foundations in which Savanna Pride has built its core values and systems. Our team is driven by our clients best interests and setting their needs as our priority. We believe that by playing a part in the community, beyond even client services, that we can make social changes which will spread from city to city. We continue to come up with ideas of possibilities we can impart that will improve mankind. In the movie a young boy decides that if he can do three good deeds that impact people’s lives, and they in turn can “Pay It Forward” and so forth so that positive changes can occur, we believe we can do this as a business.

In 2014 Lawrie participated in the RMHC Ride for Sick Kids WA and raised money for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Our Savanna Bird

Our Savanna “bird” symbolises: eternal life, joy, harmony, ecstasy, balance and love, the link between sky and earth. They are believed to be messengers of the gods.

In the savanna little birds co-exist with the larger animals removing them of bugs. When alarmed, the birds hiss, alerting their host to possible danger.
